This screen shot of the game is appealing to the target audience as it shows that the map isn't restricted to certain ares but instead they have freedom to roam around the whole map and explore and go where they want within the game.
The majority of the audience for GTA, enjoy the game for its free roaming gameplay where the player can chose when to play the storyline and when to drop it. Giving the [player this freedom widens the audience as it opens the player up to two different styles of gameplay; the storyline gameplay and the free roam gameplay.
It also gives a good impression of the graphic style used in the game, and are much more realistic compared to the previous games.

This screenshot would appeal to the target audience as it gives a good impression of what the gameplay would include.
The explosion in the background of the image is appealing to the audience as it gives an impression of what you can do in the game. The target audience wants to be able to play a game where they can blow things up and rob banks. - This causes a lot of arguments about the game being too violent, but the audience that is supposed to play it is old enough to know right from wrong, so would never do such a thing in real life, but in game it is fun to feel the 'thrill' of doing a bank heist and blowing up a building as it is something they would never want to do in real life as the consequences are much more serious.

The use of this shot is effective to the target audience as the still shows good detail in graphics and the image is exciting. there is a lot going on in the image; the character holding the gun, their facial expression (Determined or angry) and the explosion in the background. All these make the image interesting to look at. The player/ audience would like this still as it gives a good description as to what the game is as well as the image looking high quality and cool.
